Accommodation Policies

Minimum Stay & Reservation Schedule

A two-night minimum stay is required. Some exceptions may be made upon request.

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests should contact the facility to request adjustments to these times, and additional fees may apply. Guests may check in early at no charge when notified that their room is ready.

Guests are encouraged to check in before 5:00 PM and notify the facility of any anticipated late arrivals. Guests arriving after 9:00 PM must contact us for specific check-in instructions. No discounts will be given for late check-ins. Fees may be incurred for late check-outs if they interfere with cleaning schedules and preparation for incoming guests.

Breakfast is served family-style in the dining room at 8:30 AM. Guests should plan to attend breakfast at that time, as made-to-order or on-demand breakfast service is not available later.

Deposits & Payments

All room reservations require payment equal to a minimum one-night stay, plus applicable taxes and fees, at the time of booking.

Guests agree that they are personally liable for all costs and charges incurred if payment is not made in full at the time of check-in. We accept all major credit cards.

Cancellations & Refunds

A minimum 48-hour cancellation notice is required for each room prior to the reservation arrival date. Failure to provide notice will result in charges equal to a minimum one-night stay plus taxes and fees.

If guests fail to arrive for their reservation, or check out early without providing 48-hour notice, no refunds will be issued and the full reservation amount will be charged to the card on file.

We do not issue last-minute refunds due to schedule changes or flight cancellations. Guests experiencing a personal or medical emergency, or an Act of God, should contact us directly.

If a guest is unsatisfied with their room accommodations, they must notify the Innkeeper within 20 minutes of check-in to request a partial refund. In such cases, guests will still be charged for a minimum one-night stay plus taxes and fees due to the inability to re-rent the room and the resulting loss of revenue.

Guests who book a non-refundable room rate and decide to depart before their scheduled check-out date will be charged for the entire reservation. Reserved rooms cannot be reopened through online travel agencies, and Tyee remains responsible for associated commissions.

Occupancy & Children

Only two adult guests are permitted per room.

To provide guests with a quiet and relaxing retreat, we are an adult-only facility. Exceptions may be considered if no other rooms are booked and/or a family wishes to reserve all five rooms for a special event or occasion. Please call for additional information regarding accommodations for children during your planned stay.

We do not provide cribs, cots, rollaway beds, or twin beds.

Pets

The premises are pet-free, with the exception of dogs protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

We welcome service animals defined as dogs that have been individually trained, certified, or licensed to perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Service animals are permitted in all guest-accessible areas and must remain under the owner’s control at all times. Service animals may not disturb other guests or create ongoing noise disturbances. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their service animal and for any damages caused by the animal.

Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not permitted, as they are not recognized as service animals under the ADA because they are not trained to perform a specific task or job.

If non-ADA pets are brought onto the premises, guests will be charged:

  • One night’s stay plus taxes and fees
  • A $250 pet cleaning fee
  • Any additional costs related to damages or repairs

Smoking

Smoking of any substance is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, both indoors and outdoors.

Smoking in any indoor guest area will result in a minimum cleaning charge of $250.00. Significant staff time, specialized cleaning products, and equipment are required to restore smoking-damaged rooms to rentable condition, in addition to revenue losses while the room remains unavailable.

Smoking-related charges and fines will not be waived for any reason. Please contact the Innkeeper for information regarding approved smoking areas and proper disposal methods.

Guest Valuables & Safety

Items brought onto the premises, including vehicles and valuables left inside vehicles, are brought at the guest’s sole risk.

The business, property owners, management, and employees accept no liability and are not responsible for any loss, damage, accidents, or injuries occurring on the property. Guests are solely responsible for their own safety and the safekeeping of their personal belongings.

Guests are responsible for any costs incurred in the event legal action is taken on their behalf.

Respect of Property & Damages

An inventory of each room is completed before guest check-in and after guest check-out.

Guests will be charged for the repair or replacement of any missing or damaged items, as well as for damages beyond normal wear and tear to any part of the property.

Policy Postings

Written policies are available online, during the reservation process, at check-in, and within the guest books provided in each room.

  • By making a reservation, guests agree to comply with all regulations outlined in this rental agreement, as well as all applicable city, county, and state ordinances, including noise regulations and Good Neighbor Guidelines available in the guest books.
